Otto Handmade Dress Shirt White Suvin Poplin

Suvin (rhymes with clean) is one of the finest and rarest cottons in the world. Developed in India in the 1970s, Suvin gets its pedigree — and its name — from crossing two strains: Sujata, a local Indian variety, and St. Vincent, known for Sea Island Cotton. Made from extra-long staple fibers, it ranks high on every measure: exceptionally fine, strong, and uniform. It’s harvested by hand, fully traceable from field to finished fabric, and produced in very limited quantities. While all of our shirting fabrics are special, this one sits on another plane. Accordingly, we made it in an Otto make, our handsewn-in-Italy dress shirt with crow's-foot button stitching and a fit that moves along with you. Same modified spread collar, lightweight fused interlining, slimmish cut, high armhole, long-enough-to-stay-tucked-in shirttail, and Trocas shell buttons as our other dress shirts. Just quite a bit more elevated. Special fabric, special make, special across the board.
