Our Otto shirts are beautifully handsewn in Italy at eight key points... because otto is Italian for ‘eight’; get it? Hand-assembling the stress points allows for a fit that moves along with you, and makes for a really, really special dress shirt, all the way down to the crow's-foot button stitching that's a signature of handwork. And speaking of special, this one's made of Sea Island Cotton, an extra-rare variety of long-staple cotton widely regarded as the best of the best. How rare? Well, it represents 0.0006% of the world's cotton supply. That's, uh, six in a million. Without getting too technical, the uniformity and strength of the fibers give it a durable, soft handfeel that improves with each wash. Scarcity of the fabric aside, the shirt itself is made with a modified spread collar, lightweight fused interlining, slimmish cut, high armhole, long-enough-to-stay-tucked-in shirttail, and Trocas shell buttons. Just like our other dress shirts, but a bit more elevated.
