WASHINGTON, DC
Our DC shop opened in the fall of 2015. We renovated the space (a former hookah restaurant) while preserving the 70s vibe of the original architecture… something of a standout in historic Georgetown. The greenhouse entrance leads into a warm, welcoming space with an open oak staircase, tartan wool curtains, color field artwork, and vintage kilim rugs on top of seagrass floors. A sunny center atrium with a couple of Womb chairs makes a great place to relax, but also connects to our Ann Mashburn women’s store on the other side of the building (facing Prospect Street). There’s also a full-service, open-kitchen-style tailoring shop, where you can have your jeans hemmed or get measured for a custom suit. Come see us—we’ll have smiling faces to greet you, something great on the turntable, and a cold Topo Chico or Miller High Life at the ready.
Warm and easygoing, and welcoming, Adrian has never met a stranger — and his product knowledge shines through his styling and merchandising. Adrian is originally from San Antonio but has lived all over Texas. In fact, he was part of the opening team for our Dallas shop and managed our Houston shop before coming to DC in summer 2022. If you visit, it's not uncommon for him to recommend a record (he's big on music), or occasionally… break into song.
