We opened our Houston shop—our first outside of Georgia—in the fall of 2013, in a groovy midcentury strip center in River Oaks. The space is warm and inviting, decked out with vintage kilim rugs, tartan wool curtains, and more than a few pieces of furniture pulled from Sid's & Ann's own home. Our Ann Mashburn women's shop is just on the other side (which makes a great his-and-hers shopping date,) and in the back is our full-service, open-kitchen-style tailoring shop, where you can have your jeans hemmed or get measured for a custom suit. You'll also find a ping-pong table and plenty of places to sit down for a minute and relax. Come see us…we'll have smiling faces to greet you, something great on the turntable, and a cold Coke or glass of Bulleit at the ready.
Store Manager
Nick is equal parts art and science — he has years of experience in both genetic research and menswear retail, and also dabbles in music engineering and photography. In other words, he's cool (and smart) as all get-out. Nick's eye for clothes is informed by his English culture: a nice mix of tradition and just a dash of punk. (On top of that stacked resume, he grew up playing in metal bands.) When he's not in the shop, you may find him outdoors at local parks and the zoo, or at Houston Ballet performances, both as a patron and as a proud husband… his wife is a soloist!
