Sandals

If you’re considering throwing on a pair of sandals or flip-flops or men’s slides – it’s safe to say you’re already in a pretty casual (and maybe tropical?) environment. Good for you! Do yourself a favor, and rather than reaching for the old tattered standby’s… elevate your sandal game, and lean into leather sandals. (Instantly chic, lasts longer, and just as easy.)  And if you’re going to have one name to remember, it’s Barbara Shaum, our favorite sandal-maker from New York’s East Village. They’ve been making classic two-strap and cross-strap leather sandals completely by hand for decades, and set the bar pretty dang high as far as leatherworking goes. Anything that comes out of that workshop will last forever (really) and only get cooler with age. In fact, Sid says that around year 7, these really hit their stride.
