A little equestrian, a little mod — English cowboy — the Chelsea is one of our all-time favorite boots, with a shape that goes all the way back to the 1800s. These are bench-made in Spain (talk about a cultural mashup) with Goodyear construction, a storm welt, and a Dainite sole. Excellent cold-weather dress shoes, especially when you're not sure if the occasion even calls for dress shoes... Chelseas have a way of looking as formal or as casual as you want them to.
“On the surface, the answer is super simple – it means they are resoleable… Resoling your shoes is essentially the same as replacing the tires on your car. When you wear your tires down, you don't get a new car... you install new tires, get them balanced & re-aligned, and you're good to go for a few more years. Then you repeat the process.”
