Bedford cord is kind of its own thing... it's got super-faint north-south ridges like a traditional cord, but it's less textured and more durable. Like corduroy without the fill. Named for the mill town in Massachusetts where it was developed, it makes a great 4-season pair of pants. Just like all of our 5-pockets, the shape of these riffs on two other longtime favorites: think Levi's 501s with more taper, APC New Standards with more room in the rise, and slimmer than both from the knee down. There's also blue oxford cloth pocketing, a button fly, brass rivets, chain-stitched hems, and clean, unbranded back pockets.
