Club ties are marked by a solid or striped background with an emblem of some kind woven on top. (Think crests, shields, flags, cricket bats, that kind of thing.) They used to signal membership in, you guessed it, a club or community. The “tree of life” motif on this one is inspired by Sid's friend Amadeo, who had the coolest vintage tie that served as a jumping-off point. It's hand-rolled in Italy in our forever-go-to 8cm width: not too skinny, not too fat, and designed to sit in perfect harmony with both the lapel of our jackets and the length of our shirt collars.
