The owls are not what they seem. Except when they are! Club ties are marked by a solid or striped background with emblems woven on top. (Think crests, shields, flags, cricket bats, that kind of thing.) They used to signal membership in a, you guessed it, club or community. Nowadays, club ties are mostly symbolic — although an owl society would be cool, right? This one is hand-rolled in Ireland just for us in our forever-go-to 8cm width: not too skinny, not too fat, and designed to sit in perfect harmony with both the lapel of our jackets and the length of our shirt collars.
