Yarn-dyed corduroy is one of those rarities produced by only the most skilled textile mills. The technique is tough to get right, which makes us love this one even more. The texture gives the plaid an almost dusted feel — a truly excellent cooler-weather sport shirt. It's got a modified spread collar with lightweight, nonfused interlining for a soft, relaxed look. The cut is slim but never skinny, with a high armhole for mobility and a shirttail long enough to stay tucked in. (Sid likes it this way, but it's easy to shorten if you prefer.) It's made with single-needle stitching, 22 stitches/inch, flat-felled seams, and thick, 3.5mm Trocas shell buttons.
