Kincaid No. 3 Peak Lapel Tuxedo
Black Wool Mohair with Silk Grosgrain Trim

This tuxedo is the black-tie and peak-lapel version of our classic Kincaid suit in a refined wool mohair from England with silk grosgrain trim. The No. 3 make has full canvas construction — the sine qua non of tailoring — with a special, structured 3-layer canvas that'll mold and meld to your body over time. While the jacket has a more formal single-button closure, it has the same Italian-leaning style of the other Kincaids with a natural shoulder and a shorter, darted body with a little tracing. The trousers are cut in our original plain-front shape to complement the jacket, with side-adjuster tabs at the waist and a grosgrain stripe down the sides. We think it's the kind of tux you'll get excited about wearing… and a real upgrade from the ghosts of rentals past. Just like all of our tailored clothing, it's designed to take you to black-tie events in Mississippi, Manhattan, and Milan (and beyond) without looking or feeling out of place.

This tuxedo comes unfinished, which means it needs to be tailored before you wear it! The jacket sleeves are unhemmed, without cut buttonholes, so your local tailor can hem them to your perfect length and attach the buttons. (We include eight — four for each sleeve — in the pocket.) The trouser legs are also unfinished and ready to be shortened to your exact inseam. If you’re near one of our stores, our in-house tailors can also take care of this.
“I'm a big believer that every guy should own his own tuxedo. It pretty much never goes out of style and one could argue that the best a man ever looks is in a tux. So I'd find an occasion – maybe it's your own wedding, maybe, as in your case, you're just a guest, or maybe it's an award you've won – and invest in looking great that night.”
