Ours is handsewn in Portugal — in fact, one hour of hand-stitching goes into each pair — with moccasin construction and a slightly higher vamp for an especially comfortable fit. This one in particular is made from a very special skin — wild boar leather — with some natural, beautiful irregularity and scarring on the surface. Possibly the earthiest exotic out there. It has the same casual ease as suede, but a touch more special.
