Club ties are marked by a solid or striped background with an emblem woven on top. (Think crests, shields, flags, cricket bats— that kind of thing.) They once signaled membership in, you guessed it, a club or community. The “tree of life” motif on this one is inspired by Sid's friend Amadeo, who had the coolest vintage tie that served as a jumping-off point. It's hand-rolled in Italy in our forever-go-to 8cm width: not too skinny, not too fat, and designed to sit in perfect harmony with both the lapel of our jackets and the length of our shirt collars.
