Club ties are marked by a solid or striped background with emblems woven on top. (Think crests, shields, flags, cricket bats, that kind of thing.) They used to signal membership in, you guessed it, a club or community. Nowadays, club ties are mostly symbolic — and given laurel's millennia-long reputation as a symbol of triumph and achievement, this one is especially well-suited for occasions like ceremonies and graduations. A real winner's tie. It's hand-rolled in Ireland just for us in our forever-go-to 8cm width: not too skinny, not too fat, and designed to sit in perfect harmony with both the lapel of our jackets and the length of our shirt collars.
