WASHINGTON, DC
Our DC shop opened in the fall of 2015. We renovated the space (a former hookah restaurant) while preserving the 70s vibe of the original architecture… something of a standout in historic Georgetown. Inside, it's airy and bright, with whitewashed floors, lemon-yellow silk curtains, color field artwork, and an open oak staircase that leads up to a mezzanine. A sunny center atrium with a couple of womb chairs makes a great place to relax, but also connects to our Sid Mashburn men's store on the other side of the building (facing N Street). We share a full-service, open-kitchen-style tailoring shop, which offers alterations for the perfect fit. Come see us — we'll have smiling faces to greet you, something great on the turntable, and a cold Topo Chico or glass of prosecco at the ready.
Kristi is big on the details, with a genuine curiosity for the stories behind people, places, and things… which makes her an excellent resource when it comes to building a wardrobe or just getting dressed for an event. Kristi grew up in the Midwest, spent her college years and young adulthood in California, and raised her daughters in Rome, Italy before settling in DC. Outside of the shop, you can find her setting tablescapes, taking photos, and spending time with family, friends, and pets.
