The smaller scale of this gingham means it acts like a non-pattern pattern... basically solid from far away and nuanced up close. The silhouette is called a popover because the placket only goes halfway down, so you literally, yep, pop it over your head. That’s the only real twist, though — just like most of our other sport shirts, it's got a modified spread collar and an easy, slim-but-not-skinny shape, plus the same single-needle stitching, 22 stitches/inch, flat-felled seams, extra-thick buttons, and long-enough-to-stay-tucked-in shirttail. (FYI Sid likes the extra length, but you can always get it shortened.)
