Worn by everyone from Schrödinger to Le Corbusier to Andre 3000, a bow tie is one of those “classic menswear” pieces that appeals to the guy who does his own thing. It's equal parts preppy and practical — compared to a necktie, it really does stay out of the way — and while it's not for everybody, it does make a statement. Ours are cut on the bias and 2.25" high for an easy-to-wear (and easy-to-tie) silhouette. This one has a helper hook at the center back so once you've got it tied perfectly, you can just unhook and keep it tied for next time. One and done. It's made of cheery striped silk twill and handmade in the USA.
