Handmade Button-Down Sport Shirt Bluegrass Solid Madras

An incredibly special warm-weather sport shirt, made with our friends at Original Madras Trading Company. They're a third-generation family business that’s been handweaving since the 1970s on traditional hand looms in — where else? — Madras, India. This is a unique (and very cool) departure from the traditional plaid iterations: this solid Indian cotton has both blue and green thread woven in the warp and weft that gives it a subtle, almost iridescent luminosity. (Some inside baseball — this might have been our most passed-around swatch in Spring 2025 design meetings. It really is that exquisite.) Like the name suggests, this shirt is made completely by hand in India with all the classic details that you'd find in our other button-down sport shirts: a collar with the right amount of bloom, a cut that's slim but never skinny, a long-enough-to-stay-tucked-in shirttail, and 3.5mm Trocas shell buttons.
