We really pushed the limits of what counts as a Ghost Blazer with this heavy-duty Harris Tweed. The original Ghost was a jacket so unstructured and lightweight that it felt like wearing nothing at all. This one... isn't that! Harris Tweed is a super-special heritage textile hand-woven exclusively in islanders' homes in the Outer Hebrides, and it's many things — textured, rustic, regulated by Scottish law — but 'lightweight' isn't one of them. Another twist: smoother, unlacquered brass mushroom buttons (vs. the more textural “melting” ones on the other Ghosts) to complement the heftier, more special fabric. But let's focus on the similarities. Materials aside, this jacket has the same stripped-down spirit and ease of construction as the other Ghosts with no lining, no darts, and pickstitched spalla camicia shirtsleeve construction. A really special cold-weather sport coat.
