"I’ve been wearing espadrilles since I was in junior high. I got my first pair at The Alley in Brandon, Mississippi... a cool, kind of hippie-ish outpost run by our friends the Thompsons. They were not always… appreciated by my classmates… as you can imagine… but I didn't care. Fast forward forty-something years later: making my own with Ann was a bit of a dream come true. These are handmade in Spain and they’re the real McCoy."
