Chore Jacket Brown Wool Patchwork

Chore jackets originated in 19th-century France as garments to wear while knocking out day-to-day work (hence the name). We haven’t strayed too far from the original — simple shape, clean patch pockets at the front, an easy fit through the body — but we've taken it up a notch with horn buttons and elevated fabric. This one is made from a particularly spirited cloth from Portugal… not a true patchwork but rather a jacquard tweed that features several traditional jacketing patterns: think houndstooths, plaids, and herringbones. It's like every fall jacket mashed up into one easy-to-wear piece. Don't overthink the styling… we think it layers beautifully over more pattern.
