We created candles — scents for your home, named for our home — and this is “ours,” with notes of lavender, fig, artemisia, mint, thyme, and patchouli. Perfumed in Grasse and poured by hand in Montreal, each candle is made of a sustainable soy/coconut wax blend and housed in Mashburn-green glass with a deckle edge, foil-stamped label. 138 is named for Sid’s and Ann’s first shared loft in New York and feels accordingly neutral — both masculine and feminine — with a really wonderful fig-based scent. We especially love the mint in it.

PRO TIPS FOR BURNING CANDLES
The first time you light a candle, let it burn for 2-3 hours, or until the whole surface is liquid. Wax has muscle memory, and this trains it to burn evenly and last as long as possible. You'll also want to get in the habit of trimming the wick to 1/4" before lighting to prevent tunneling and excessive smoking.
