Your dad probably wore a Timex... and his dad probably did, too. There's a lot we dig about their watches in general, and this model is a reissue of their original '70s Q Timex. (The Q is for 'quartz movement,' which disrupted the entire watch industry long before 'disruption' was even a buzzword.) The GMT model adds in a Swiss movement (which allows you to set an additional time zone — great for travelers.) It has all the iconic features of the original — a black dial, stainless-steel bracelet, black and blue rotating bezel, and a functional hatch on the back, so all you need is a coin to open it up and replace the battery.
