Military Jacket Navy Flannel

If you don't have the constitution to spend your weekend hunting through army-navy stores for something vintage, here's an easy, throw-and-go military-inspired jacket to layer with everything you own. It's made of super-duper heavy Portuguese flannel, with enough pockets to be functional. Our favorite one is the game pocket at the back, a feature borrowed from the old-school English hunting scene. A pocket like this was traditionally on the inside, at the back of the jacket (so poachers could sneak past gamekeepers with a pheasant or something stuffed in there.) Maybe you're an outdoorsman, but these days, we like the game pocket for something more like... a game? a notebook? a paperback? a wrapped present? a bag of chips? You'll figure something out.
