This Viceroy pattern was inspired by a butterfly wing on our Fall ’24 moodboard (hence the name) — the corduroy is first dyed, then printed, for a beautiful mélange effect. It makes this a particularly spirited riff on our easiest and most casual sport coat silhouette, the Butcher. (Yes, even in a fabric like this). All the colors in the mix make it surprisingly wearable, and it'll almost certainly attract some compliments. It's unlined and unconstructed, with a natural shoulder and pickstitched spalla camicia shirtsleeve construction. The pockets on the front are special, too: we designed them so that you can tuck in the flaps (without looking like you just tucked in the flaps) for a more open look. There are even reinforced elbow patches to really drive the “casual” thing home. The fit of the Butcher is easy, with a touch more room in the body than our tailored jackets.
