WM Brown Magazine Issue No. 14

The Summer 2023 issue of our pal Matt Hranek's excellent seasonal magazine. It's a publication that speaks to “the guy who loves well-crafted and well-tailored things, simple food, a good story, an off-the-beaten path trip, a good hunt, a trout stream, European sports cars, pickup trucks, a well-made cocktail, or an unapologetic can of cheap lager beer” through photographs, interviews, recipes, travel pieces, and other ephemera. This issue is devoted to what Matt calls “the season’s signatures, from seersucker with a modern twist and brown loafers that go from street to beach bar, to a traditional shrimp boil.” That seersucker he mentions happens to be our own make... in fact, the cover features a head-to-toe Sid Mashburn look worn by our ever-stylish friend Darryl. Inside: a trip down the Pan American highway, the L’Eroica bicycle race, the archives of shirtmaker Anto of Beverly Hills, Peter Beard's inimitable style, and lots more.
