Each one is made of scented wax with pieces of the botanical element — in this case, actual Damask rosebuds — that are sourced by l'Herboristerie de la Chartreuse. (It's a French family run company that ensures ingredients “come from a network of local foragers or from worldwide partners, handpicked for their commitment to sustainable practices.”) They're handmade in France and boxed in sets of 2, each with a green cotton ribbon for hanging. Also, they smell incredible.

PRO TIPS FOR BURNING CANDLES
The first time you light a candle, let it burn for 2-3 hours, or until the whole surface is liquid. Wax has muscle memory, and this trains it to burn evenly and last as long as possible. You'll also want to get in the habit of trimming the wick to 1/4" before lighting to prevent tunneling and excessive smoking.
