Trudon is the world's oldest candlemaker still in business. From the champagne-bucket-inspired glass housing to the gilded plaque on the front, and even the deo regique laborant motto ("[the bees] work for God and the King"), everything about the brand is luxurious. They secured the rights to cast these bust candles using molds from the French National Museum Council, and only 100 of each are made per year. Once they're gone, they're gone. This one is a particularly regal likeness of Louis XIV; maybe you've heard of him? While it's not scented, and not really meant to be burned, it'll look fantastic on your mantle. A really special gift.
