The field chinos are where a pair of work pants meet jeans. They're a slim-straight trouser shape with slant pockets in the front, welt pockets in the back, and — for the first time ever — finished hems. (Unlike most of our trousers, which come unfinished at the bottom, these are sized by both waist and inseam.) They're made of midweight cotton canvas, just like our 5-pockets, which will break in really nicely the more you knock it around.
