This is a set of two 12-inch tapers made by hand of food-grade paraffin wax and, yes, painted by hand by Misette in Canada. For best results, avoid burning them near drafts and keep the wicks trimmed to a neat half-inch long.

PRO TIPS FOR BURNING CANDLES
The first time you light a candle, let it burn for 2-3 hours, or until the whole surface is liquid. Wax has muscle memory, and this trains it to burn evenly and last as long as possible. You'll also want to get in the habit of trimming the wick to 1/4" before lighting to prevent tunneling and excessive smoking.
