This is a riff on a parka we recently introduced on the Sid side (we wanted one of our own!) The silhouette is inspired by the fishtail parkas originally issued to the US Military that picked up streetwear popularity in the sixties. It’s pretty true to form, made up in Scottish dry-waxed cotton with a snap-back fishtail hem and back darts. The beauty of this one is that it's actually a 3-in-1 piece… the quilted Cashpad liner buttons out and can be worn on its own, as can the waxed cotton shell. Wear the full thing together as a warm heritage piece, or split both pieces up as lighter-weight layering options. (What's Cashpad? Glad you asked — it's a type of insulation made from recycled cashmere fibers pressed into a sheet to create a super-soft, sustainable alternative to feather or poly fill.)
