A pair of jeans that nails that elusive combo of laid back and polished: a slightly flared column leg with a full-length inseam and a rise that hits right at the natural waist. The Camille's finished with patch pockets at the hip and flap pockets at the back, all in a poppy shade of red canvas. (The color looks especially good paired with blues and tans.) A note on the fabric: like any true cotton canvas, it starts out with quite a bit of structure — these are the kind of jeans you may need to wiggle into at first — but will soften and ease up on the body with wear.
