During a summer working at their family vineyard in Bordeaux, husband-and-wife team Mathilde and Bertrand Thomas ran into a polyphenol specialist who casually mentioned the amazing antioxidant power and skincare potential of grapes. This led the Thomases to launch Caudalie, an eco-friendly, wine-derived, super-effective skincare line. (Dr. Vercauteren still serves as the brand's scientific advisor.)
