What's worse than a wet highlighter smearing your handwriting? Well, a few things, but we still dig the idea of a highlighter pencil. It's subtle, simple, makes absolutely zero mess, and will have everyone in your office asking where you got it and if you have any more lying around. (Luckily the color makes it pretty hard to steal.) Caran d'Ache has been making some of our favorite writing utensils in Switzerland for nearly a century. They're good.
