With a subtitle of “Japan's Most Astonishing Automobiles,” this is a truly fantastic, 1400-page, four-and-a-half volume book that celebrates Japanese collectible cars. From the Yahama Ami to the Hino Contessa to the Autech Zagato Stelvio, it includes dozens and dozens of JDM (Japanese Domestic Market) models both obscure and iconic. Coauthor Mark Brinker happens to be a friend and frequent presence at our Coffee & Classics events in Houston. It's incredibly cool and incredibly heavy (35 pounds!) and would make an incredibly thoughtful gift for the auto aficionado or Japanophile in your life.
