D'Ascoli makes artisanal, bohemian-feeling pieces by hand in its New Delhi design studio, using traditional, locally-grown cotton and silk handlooms. Each top, dress, and caftan is finished with special techniques, like hand embroidery and in-house digital printing. This is an ankle-length dress made of mixed prints — floral, paisley, and classic Central Asian ikat — with a split neckline, adjustable self-tie waist, and dramatic balloon sleeves.
