A cheery set of scalloped napkins made with printed Liberty Fabric and piped with cotton poplin. They're double-sided, so they really hold up to repeated use, washing, drying, etc. (An important quality in a napkin.) Each set is folded and tied together with cotton herringbone tape, which makes a perfect host or housewarming gift — all you need to add is a note. And if you're going for a full look, tabletop-wise, there's a set of coordinating placemats as well. Note that each one is cut and sewn by hand, so they're not all perfectly uniform... all part of the charm!

Liberty Fabrics has been producing some of our favorite prints since 1875. The Piccadilly poplin quality is heavier and more opaque than their signature Tana Lawn® quality — though still quite soft — and especially suited to the kinds of pieces that benefit from more structure. Each print is hand-drawn or painted by their London-based design team, then applied to fabric at Liberty's own printing mill in Northern Italy.
You Need This... I Promise
“Napkins are an easy and relatively cheap way to freshen up your table if you're feeling that itch to buy something new... though some cut flowers in a glass never hurt anyone, either.”
