A shirtdress shape is iconic for a reason: it's super flattering and super easy to wear. This one's got a fitted, self-tie waist, an A-line shape, and handy, safari-style flap pockets at the front... and it just might be your next look-more-put-together-than-you-feel dress. Pair it with flat sandals! An instant outfit! Especially in a goes-with-everything indigo chambray from Italy.
With any true indigo fabric, there’s a risk of color transfer, where a little blue makes its way to light-colored fabrics or your skin. This is called crocking, and it usually comes out in the washing machine or the shower, respectively! It’s inherent to natural indigo dye, and it’s part of what makes those garments fade so beautifully. Still, for the first few wears, we recommend laundering separately and staying away from light-colored upholstery.
