A simple ruched-neck top with short sleeves, a covered placket, and an easy A-line shape. It's made of our favorite Italian chambray made with real indigo and a nearly-even split of cotton and linen. The fit is intended to be swingy and loose, but you can tone down some of the volume by tucking it in.
With any true indigo fabric, there’s a risk of color transfer, where a little blue makes its way to light-colored fabrics or your skin. This is called crocking, and it usually comes out in the washing machine or the shower, respectively! It’s inherent to natural indigo dye, and it’s part of what makes those garments fade so beautifully. Still, for the first few wears, we recommend laundering separately and staying away from light-colored upholstery.
