For your head! For your neck! For your wrist! For your ponytail! The name of this scarf should clue you into the flexibility here. It's made with soft, fine Tana Lawn® cotton from Liberty Fabrics. Ann wears hers on her head, pirate-style, but you can choose your own adventure and tie it however you like. She made an Instagram video with some of the possibilities — we've counted 11 so far — let us know if you find more!
Liberty Fabrics has been producing some of our favorite prints since 1875. Their signature Tana Lawn® quality is fine, cool, and especially soft. While it's woven from ultra-fine, long-staple Egyptian cotton, it almost behaves like silk, with a lightweight drape and beautiful color vibrancy. In their own words, it's “a fabric built by obsession, perfected into a modern masterpiece of production through a bespoke process that has evolved over a century.” Each print is hand-drawn or painted by their London-based design team, then applied to fabric at Liberty's own printing mill in Northern Italy.
“I still do the head scarf thing – I am wearing one as I type. It screams summer to me, and it makes packing easy. T-shirts, jeans, sandals, and a few scarves. That's it. And almost twenty years later, I have quite the collection. They make great souvenirs… memory-makers, and often affordable ones at that. ”
